You are most welcome to 8 days 7 nights trekking up from the Base Camp to the glacier area. Daily departure from Lhasa. Includes : Visit of Lhasa, Tashilunpo Monastery, 5 days trekking up to about 6300m high, arrival near the Nepalese border, and more.

Day 1

Drive half day from Lhasa to Shigatze, check in the 3 star Shangdong Hotel, after lunch, visit the Tashilunpo Monastery. (L, D)

Day 2

Morning visit the Panchen Lama’s New Palace, then drive about 6 hours from Shigatze to Tingri. Check in the 2 star Mt.Everest Hotel. (B, L, D)

Day 3

Drive half day from Tingri to the Base Camp of Mt.Everest. Have lunch at Rongbuk Monastery. Afternoon relax at the BC. Camping in BC. (B, L, D)

Day 4

Trekking around the BC. Camping in BC. (B, L, D)

Day 5

Get up early, trekking up to the glacier at about 5800-6000 m high, then trek back to BC. Camping in BC. (B, L, D)

Day 6

Get up early, trekking up to the glacier at about 6300 m high, where you can see a moraine lake, then trek back to BC. Camping in BC. (B, L, D)

Day7

Drive about 8 hours from BC to Zhangmu, the border town between Tibet and Nepal, stay in a 1 star hotel. (B, L, D)

Day 8

After breakfast, see you off at the China side of the border. (B)
